Electro‑Mechanical Controls Technician — Manufacturing

Sacramento, CA | $49.40–$50.39/hr | Temporary Assignment

Your Mission

  • Own troubleshooting for PLC-controlled production equipment
  • Restore and enhance electrical and control systems
  • Program and refine Allen‑Bradley PLC logic
  • Support automated machinery to keep output on target
  • Pinpoint and resolve electrical, mechanical, and automation issues
  • Leverage HMIs and SCADA tools, including FactoryTalk, RS Linx, and Stratix switches
  • Decipher and apply electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Install and commission new industrial equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance routines
  • Drive continuous improvement activities
  • Act decisively to minimize downtime

What You’ll Bring

  • 6+ years of industrial maintenance or controls experience
  • Exceptional electrical troubleshooting ability
  • Proven PLC troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with Allen‑Bradley ControlLogix or CompactLogix
  • HMI proficiency
  • Fluency with electrical schematics
  • Background in industrial manufacturing

Nice to Have

  • Food manufacturing experience
  • Hands-on work with automated production equipment
  • SCADA and FactoryTalk familiarity
  • Wonderware exposure
  • PID tuning experience
  • Forklift and scissor lift familiarity
  • Industrial instrumentation skills

Shifts & Opportunity

  • Day Shift: 4:00 AM start
  • Swing Shift: 2:30 PM start
  • Overtime: Available
