Electro-Mechanical Field Systems Integrator

A day in this role

Start your morning in Battleboro, VT, collaborating with electrical, software, and mechanical engineers to bring integrated systems to life for capital, expense, and development projects. You will build, test, and verify electro-mechanical subassemblies against engineering procedures, CAD drawings, and schematics. When duty calls, you head into the field to install, set up, operate, and service complex systems—often in support of outage and emergent scopes.

You report to the Manager Remote Monitoring & AV Ops and are based onsite in Battleboro, VT when not traveling.

What you will tackle

• Assist with rebuilds of outage support systems.
• Perform onsite maintenance, setup, and operation of integrated systems.
• Travel 30 to 50 percent of the year to support outage and emergent work.
• Generate purchase requisitions from system packages and coordinate daily priorities with guidance.
• Fabricate, test, and peer-check subparts of larger integrated systems per engineering procedures, CAD drawings, and schematics.
• Coach and assist Level I and peer technicians with work assignments.

What you bring

• Electronics associate degree, or High School Diploma plus 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Understanding of subcomponents within larger, integrated systems.
• Soldering proficiency (for example, J-STD-001).
• Hands-on experience with Digital Multimeters, HiPot testers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and calipers.

Compensation

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $65,393.45 to $85,031.46.
