Job Description

Electro-Mechanical Inspector 2

As an Electro-Mechanical Inspector 2 for Philips, you will support quality assurance operations by ensuring product, supplier, and process compliance through validation activities, complaint investigations, quality system management, documentation control, testing coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives

Your role:

  • Support product quality and compliance activities by assisting with verification and validation of new or modified products, coordinating testing and validation activities, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues by supporting customer complaint investigations, gathering and analyzing data, performing root cause analysis, and contributing to corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Maintain supplier quality and quality system records through supplier capability assessments, review of supplier quality documentation, management of quality notifications (QNs), and accurate maintenance of nonconformance reports (NCMs).
  • Administer quality management systems and documentation by supporting eQMS activities, managing document control, and maintaining procedures, work instructions, and records to ensure compliance with quality management standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement and performance monitoring by supporting process improvement initiatives and training programs, tracking key performance indicators, reporting quality trends, and escalating issues as needed while completing assigned tasks under general supervision.

You're the right fit if:

  • You've acquired 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality setting, you're familiar with SAP and quality inspection.
  • Your skills include using calipers, micrometers, or height gauges, and strong computer literacy.
  • You have a High School Diploma or GED
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You're a self starter with strong communication skills and attention to detail

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Pennsylvania is $21.00 to $33.00/hr.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
