The Key Accountabilities for the Electro-Mechanical Assembler 3 are:
Product Assembly (60%)
Assembling various basic, intermediate, and advanced electronic and mechanical chassis products and sub- assemblies by following schematics, diagrams, and written or verbal instructions
Performing basic to intermediate assembly tasks
Operating manual and power tools
Ability to lay out basic to intermediate control panels
Installation of mechanical components
wiring electronic components with understanding of its functionality
full understanding of sizing charts and wiring diagrams including:
components spacing
wire sizing
torque ratings
fuse ratings
Quality Control (20%)
Accurately report time charged to jobs on daily time sheet
Perform electrical testing on standard control panels including PLC’s and VFD’s
Perform Ring Outs on panels built by other assemblers
Advanced knowledge of UL 508 standards and basic knowledge of UL 698A
Perform un-supervised quality control functions on products built by level 2 and below Electro-Mechanical Assemblers
Perform Kiesling layout verification approval
Organization: (10%)
Receiving and studying work orders
Gathering tools and supplies
Performing pre-production check list
Follow proper procedures to request additional parts and return unused inventory at the completion of the work order
Maintaining work area in compliance with 5S training
Follow quality management procedures
Aiding other areas of production as required: (10%)
Ability to start and/or finish any project from another assembler during their absence
Aid in training, questions, and general mentoring of level 1 and 2 Electro - Mechanical Assemblers
Ability to operate all shop equipment with proper Safety Training (plasma torch, stud welder, saws, drills, testing equipment)
Coordinate Field Service support as needed for customers
