Description

Essential Functions:

1.Perform major electrical repairs and installations

2.Troubleshoot electrical problems and offer solutions

3.Maintain and repair machinery and production equipment as needed to keep equipment continually operating

4. Perform emergency repairs, as needed

5.Maintain and repair facility according to preventative maintenance schedule

6.Design and fabricate special items as specified by work orders or through requests

7.Complete plumbing, carpentry, electrical, mechanical and other project work as required or specified

8. Perform painting, grounds keeping, housekeeping and other tasks to improve and maintain the appearance of the facilities and grounds

9.Complete work orders in order of importance

10.Participate in equipment installation and fabrication of custom parts

11. Order and organize material and supplies on an ongoing basis (contact with outside vendors required)

12. Assist in the training and coaching of employees on proper maintenance of machinery and equipment

13. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

1. Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner

2. Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business

3. Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed

4. Ability to effectively work in teams

5. Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people

6. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles

7. Ability to read blueprints

8. Ability to read electrical prints

9. Ability to operate various tools such as drill, saw, mill, grinder, and welder

Education:

High School Diploma

Technical Degree in Electro- Mechanical or Equivalent
