Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $25.00 | Type of Position: Temporary to Hire

What you’ll do

  • Assemble and solder lead wires to terminals and SMD pads.
  • Build electronic/electro-mechanical subassemblies, cable assemblies, and final products.
  • Prepare and clean surfaces for high-quality adhesive application.
  • Perform potting and curing using adhesives and encapsulants.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on assembly equipment.
  • Follow safety and quality procedures while meeting production schedules.

What you need to have

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of progressive electro-mechanical assembly experience.
  • J-STD-001 certification preferred.
  • Hands-on mastery of surface mount and through-hole soldering.
  • Ability to interpret BOMs, datasheets, work instructions, and technical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical components and assemblies.
  • Familiarity with adhesives, potting compounds, and SDS practices.

Physical & visual requirements

  • Fine motor skills for handling small parts, tools, and equipment.
  • Frequent reaching and grasping; occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
  • Close/color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

ITAR Requirements

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
