Electro-Mechanical Panel Assembler — Garland, TX

Join our manufacturing team in Garland, TX, where you'll transform prints and parts into finished, packed products that meet exacting specifications for quantity and zero-defect quality.

A day in this role

You kick off the shift by reviewing blueprints and schematics, planning your build. You’ll assemble machinery, fabricated metal assemblies, electrical equipment, appliances, and related products to spec. Using hand tools and shop machines, you’ll drill, tap, measure, lay out, and wire control panels end-to-end. Throughout the day, you’ll log production, note maintenance items, and document any product variances. You’ll maintain equipment and conveyors, perform basic repairs, and keep tools and parts inventoried—looping in the materials handler when replenishment is needed. Routine in-process checks per company policy help you spot and resolve issues early and keep supervisors informed. You back your teammates during peak demand, honor start/stop and break schedules, and take on overtime when required. You communicate confidently and build strong customer relationships in line with our culture. And when priorities shift, you handle other related duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring

  • Fluent in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Hands-on skill maintaining equipment and performing basic repairs.
  • Fundamental math, reading, and writing abilities; high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Comfort with prolonged standing and repetitive tasks; able to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Excellent hand–eye coordination.
  • Ability to distinguish colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
  • Capable of building panels from start to finish (measure, drill, tap, layout).
  • Familiarity with breakers, relays, contactors, transformers, lights, SPDs, and related components.
  • Knowledge of wiring industrial control panels; UL508A experience preferred.

Work schedule

  • 1st shift: 6:30AM to 3:00PM, Monday to Friday.
  • 2nd shift: 4:00PM - 12:30AM, Monday to Friday.
