Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Installs instrumentation including accelerometers, thermocouples, load cells, pressure transducers, and acoustic transducers.
Connects instrumentation to data acquisition systems with signal conditioning equipment.
Collects instrumentation response data and processes it into customer-specified formats.
Interfaces with internal customers to review data and requirements for on-time error-free response data.
Interprets electrical schematics and applies Ohm’s Law for resistance, current, and voltage calculations.
Fabricates electronic cables, connector assemblies, and electrical circuit boards.
Calibrates and operates digital data acquisition systems and verifies correct functionality.
Operates electronic test equipment for laboratory testing.
Conducts routine and specialized laboratory tests in accordance with test requirements and established procedures.
Calibrates, installs, and properly connects instrumentation such as accelerometers, pressure transducers, and displacement transducers.
Requirements:
Ability to Obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
High School diploma.
At least 2 years of experience with electrical knowledge including interpreting electrical schematics and comprehending Ohm’s Law.
At least 2 years of experience fabricating electronic cables, connector assemblies, and electrical circuit boards.
At least 2 years of experience calibrating and operating digital data acquisition systems and verifying correct functionality.
At least 2 years of experience operating electronic test equipment.
Capable of obtaining an ATF Explosives Possessors License.
Capable of obtaining a DOD Secret Security Clearance.
Strong computer skills for data recording, transfer, and project documentation (technical software use).
Preferred: Proficiency in digital data acquisition systems, J-standard solder certification, and diagnostic troubleshooting of electrical systems.
