    Role Description The Electro Mechanical Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in North Hollywood, CA. This role is responsible for the cleaning, inspection, preparation, assembly, repair, rework, and testing of aircraft electrical and electromechanical components in accordance with technical specifications. Work is performed under the direction of the Shop Manager or Lead Technician and may include electrical assemblies, actuators, motors, wiring harnesses, and related components.

    Qualifications

    \n

    1) Disassemble, clean, inspect, assemble, and test electrical and electromechanical components and assemblies.

    \n

    2) Build, inspect, repair, and rework electrical wiring harnesses and assemblies.

    \n

    3) Install, repair, and maintain electrical connectors, wiring, and related hardware.

    \n

    4) Perform continuity checks and electrical testing of switches, relays, solenoids, motors, and other components.

    \n

    5) Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and other technical documentation to determine assembly, testing, and repair requirements.

    \n

    6) Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and precision measuring instruments as required.

    \n

    7) Verify component dimensions, clearances, and conformance to applicable specifications and tolerances.

    \n

    8) Record test results and complete required inspection and testing documentation.

    \n

    9) Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or management team.
