Description
Electro-Mechanical Technician
Location: Danboro, PA
The Electro-Mechanical Technician will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of electro-mechanical equipment and systems. This includes mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems as well as control circuits and PLCs. The technician will support production and facility operations by ensuring equipment runs efficiently and downtime is minimized.
Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment and facility systems
* Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems and control circuits
* Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to identify issues before failure
* Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC logic
* Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
* Maintain documentation of repairs, parts usage, and completed work in CMMS
* Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with electrical codes and company standards
* Collaborate with engineering and operations to improve equipment reliability and performance
Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred
* Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role
* Strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and electrical control systems
* Proficient with AC/DC motors, VFDs, sensors, and relays
* Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
* Experience with both mechanical and electrical systems
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferences:
* Knowledge of Allen-Bradley is preferred
Compensation: $25-30/hr
