Electro Mechanical Technician
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $33.00–$54.00 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electro Mechanical Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing equipment. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, PLC-controlled, and robotic systems to ensure safe and efficient production. The ideal candidate is a motivated problem solver with strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical equipment failures.
  • Dismantle, repair, and reassemble electrical and mechanical equipment and components.
  • Learn and operate production equipment to gain a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Perform reactive, corrective, and preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
  • Support manufacturing equipment installations, upgrades, and special projects.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment and robotic systems.
  • Repair or replace equipment components as needed to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety standards and 6S practices.
  • Train team members as assigned.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 4–8 years of industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and industrial equipment systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and modifying PLC programs.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing robotic equipment.
  • Proficiency using precision measuring tools, gauges, scales, fixtures, and related instruments.
  • Power truck (forklift) experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Office, and other computerized maintenance systems (CMMS).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Verifiable electrical background required.
