The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties, however, it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.
- Design, implement, repair, maintain and improve instruments, equipment, facility and systems for industrial manufacturing service.
- Operate computer design software and equipment to perform tasks, repairs or changes to existing or new equipment.
- Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction and installation standards and specifications
- Confirm completed projects and installations conform to design and installation standards and specifications.
- Plan and research methodology and procedures to electrical projects.
- Review and check all assigned project installation drawings for compliance with all company electrical safety programs.

- Perform electrical installation, troubleshooting and repairs:

- Ability to instruct helpers and less qualified personnel
- Identify proper P/M schedules
- Identify proper parts, materials and tools needed for specific jobs
- Ability to set up and operate all shop equipment

- Knows all safe work habits surrounding the job
- Can identify and eliminate work hazards
- Knows proper lock-out/tag out minor servicing procedures
- Knows safe and proper clean up procedures
Knowledge Required: Basic math, reading, communication skills. Must have proper tools to perform assigned work duties.

Internal Contacts: Close working relationship with plant personnel, Plant Manager, Operations Manager, Corrugator Maintenance Supervisor
External Contacts: Occasional contact with vendors and contracted maintenance companies.
