Electrical & Mechanical Assembler
Position Summary
The Electrical & Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling electrical and mechanical components according to drawings, work instructions, and specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow technical instructions, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble electrical and mechanical components according to drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
Read and interpret basic blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and bills of material.
Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measuring equipment safely.
Install wiring, hardware, panels, and other components.
Perform basic quality inspections and identify assembly defects.
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Candidate Requirements
Previous electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial assembly experience preferred.
Ability to read measurements and follow detailed instructions.
Experience with electrical wiring, panel building, transformers, or power-distribution equipment is a plus.
Strong attendance, reliability, and attention to detail.
Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions in English.
Willingness and availability to work overtime when required.
Availability to travel to Troy, Michigan, for training is a plus.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Manufacturing and assembly environment.
Requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive movements.
Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must follow all required PPE and workplace safety procedures.
Must maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in electrical assembly, panel building, wiring, transformers, power-distribution equipment, industrial manufacturing, or mechanical assembly are strongly encouraged to apply.
$20-$23 DOE
based on years of transferable experience
