This role involves reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work orders to determine materials and assembly instructions.
Assemble machine components to specifications, using hand and power tools, fixtures, jigs, and templates.
Perform mechanical operations with precision, aligning parts and working with rotating shafts, gear trains, and structures.
Drill, tap, ream, and file parts; clean and lubricate assemblies.
Use measuring instruments to ensure proper alignment, tolerances, and quality.
Assemble electrical and electronic systems, wire control panels, and verify wiring integrity.
Identify and report material defects or operational issues.
Complete documentation and participate in team meetings to address production or quality concerns.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment, adhere to safety protocols, and work regular hours with possible overtime.
Compensation ranges from $25-30/hr DOE, with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401K, PTO, and bonuses.
