Electromechanical Assembler

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM-3:00 PM
Job Type: Full Time
Breaks: Two paid 15-minute breaks

Electromechanical Assembler – Must-Have Requirements

  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or mechanical experience preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and shop equipment.
  • Ability to perform basic soldering of wires and electronic components.
  • Ability to read and follow product routers, work instructions, and assembly documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
  • Ability to learn and operate various manufacturing equipment.

Electromechanical Assembler – Position Summary

The Electromechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling and producing a variety of mechanical and electromechanical products using hand tools, shop equipment, and basic soldering techniques. This position will perform a combination of manual assembly, machining and cutting operations, soldering, and quality inspections. The ideal candidate has good mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work with both mechanical components and basic electrical wiring.

Electromechanical Assembler – Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform manual assembly of various mechanical and electromechanical products.
  • Use turret lathes, drill presses, table saws, chop saws, band saws, and assorted hand tools to complete production operations.
  • Perform basic soldering of wires, resistors, capacitors, and other electronic components.
  • Follow product routers to manage workflow and ensure products move through the required production steps.
  • Perform continual quality checks and inspections on products throughout the assembly process.
  • Identify workmanship or quality issues and take appropriate action according to established procedures.
  • Follow assembly instructions, product specifications, and established manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Follow established quality objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist other departments or production areas as needed.

Electromechanical Assembler – Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with mechanical or electromechanical assembly is preferred.
  • Previous soldering experience is a plus.
  • Experience operating drill presses, saws, lathes, or similar shop equipment is helpful.
  • Ability to work with small components and perform detailed assembly work.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to learn new equipment, products, and assembly procedures.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to cross-train and assist in other areas of the operation when needed.
