    Description

    Hello from Express Employment Professionals (North Hollywood). We’re partnering with a client in Sun Valley, CA to hire an experienced assembler who thrives at the intersection of mechanics and electronics. To learn more, call 818-332-1622.

    A day in this role

    You start by reviewing build drawings and schematics, staging parts and hardware for the day’s work. Through the morning, you assemble sub-systems—mechanical frames, cable harnesses, and power supplies—before moving on to calibrations and functional tests in the afternoon. You’ll wrap up by documenting results, collaborating with production engineering on improvements, and prepping completed units for shipment.

    What you will build

    • Mechanical systems and mechatronic/robotic devices
    • Lighting and audio components within integrated assemblies
    • Server control panels, cable sets, and power supply assemblies

    This role combines electrical and mechanical assembly and owns the path from build to test to ship.

    Key responsibilities

    • Work hands-on with both small sub-assemblies and large, complex builds
    • Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings and schematics
    • Stage materials; set up, assemble, test, install hardware; and prepare cables
    • Use precision tools such as torque wrenches, cable crimpers/splicers, and drivers
    • Follow procedures, specifications, and test instructions precisely
    • Operate mechanical tools safely with provided guidance
    • Collaborate with production engineers and help document process steps
    • Deliver work on schedule, safely, and with professional quality
    • Take on additional related tasks to keep operations efficient

    What you bring

    • 5+ years of mechanical assembly experience
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Background in fast-paced production or assembly environments
    • Strong manual dexterity with hand and power tools
    • Fluency reading technical drawings, schematics, and test procedures
    • Team-first mindset with the flexibility to shift roles as needed

    Physical and schedule details

    • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
    • Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed
