Electromechanical Lab Technician II

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Electromechanical Lab Technician II. This is a Full-Time onsite role working Monday-Friday Daylight hours. The expected annual salary range for this role is $56000 - $83000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Job Responsibilities

This Role will focus in supporting engineering projects and efforts in the ARS Electromechanical Lab through development and application of experiment procedures and test fixtures. The role would be also responsible for sustaining the daily activities and operations of the Lab. The role will be Located in Moon Township, PA

  • Perform Standard and Non-Standard Electrical and Mechanical Tests on Breakers and Residential Enclosures
  • Develop test procedures and fixtures for non-standard test
  • Report Test Results to Engineering Teams using statistical analysis
  • Keep Stock of Lab Material and Equipment Replenished
  • Lead 5S+ efforts in the Lab Space
  • Use hand tools including gage R and R as well as material analysis processing
  • Interface with external suppliers to schedule testing, and delivery of samples and results
  • Work with engineers and marketing department to evaluate field returns and counterfei
  • Lead Electrical Safety Efforts in the lab, this include GEMBAS, machine safety evaluations, incident reports and improvents of unsafe conditions, as well as keeping machine checklists current and properly filled
Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering OR Associates degree with 2+ years of electromechanical experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now and in the future
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility listed will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • 3+ years of electromechanical exp.
