    Join Ken’s Foods in Marlborough, MA and help power a fast-growing food manufacturer known for dressings and sauces. Your mission: protect uptime and product quality by maintaining and repairing complex packaging and process systems in a climate-controlled environment.

    Impact you’ll make

    You’ll be the go-to problem solver on third shift, working a steady four 10-hour-day schedule. From a PLC-controlled filler to a high-voltage panel or a pneumatic cylinder that’s losing pressure, you’ll diagnose precisely and repair safely to get production back on track.

    Core responsibilities (built on 3+ years of experience)

    • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across facility equipment and systems
    • Operate, maintain, and repair automated packaging machinery
    • Use pump theory to operate, troubleshoot, and repair pump systems
    • Apply pneumatic principles for application support, troubleshooting, and repair
    • Apply hydraulic principles for application support, troubleshooting, and repair
    • Read and interpret electrical schematics to guide diagnostics and repairs
    • Work safely on low- and high-voltage electrical circuits
    • Diagnose motors, motor controls, and device control issues
    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical control and power circuits
    • Service electrically controlled equipment, including PLC-controlled and solid-state systems
    • Perform welding (gas and arc) and soldering tasks
    • Support facility systems: steam, hot water, compressed air, and refrigeration (foundational knowledge)
    • Handle basic plumbing and carpentry work
    • Identify and order parts and materials using manufacturers’ manuals and prints
    • Communicate clearly; follow and provide both oral and written instructions

    Qualifications and growth

    • High school diploma or GED; or 3+ years of related experience/training; or an equivalent combination
    • Standard Timing Model mechanical test: 60% minimum score
    • Massachusetts requirement: Special to Operate Engineering License (Steam Plant)—we provide license training if you do not already have it
