    Electromechanical Maintenance Specialist (Manufacturing)

    Location: St. Louis, MO area

    Picture your day: you arrive on shift, scan yesterday’s CMMS notes, walk the production floor, and listen—literally and figuratively—for the first sign of a bearing warming up, a sensor misreading, or a PLC fault that could slow a line. You jump into diagnostics, plan your preventive rounds, and partner with production to keep throughput steady and safe. If this rhythm sounds like your ideal day, you’ll fit right in.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Execute routine and corrective maintenance on a range of industrial machinery and support equipment.
    • Rapidly troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to reduce unplanned downtime.
    • Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to keep assets operating at peak performance.
    • Work alongside production teams to resolve equipment challenges and optimize run conditions.
    • Document maintenance actions, findings, and parts usage with precise, up-to-date records.
    • Assist with installing, commissioning, and validating new machines and systems.
    • Adhere to safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
    • Contribute ideas to continuous improvement initiatives that boost reliability and efficiency.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certificate/degree in industrial maintenance is preferred.
    • Hands-on experience as an industrial maintenance technician or closely related role.
    • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and components.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
    • Strong analytical troubleshooting skills and meticulous attention to detail.
    • Comfort working independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
    • Clear, professional communication with a can-do attitude.
    • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as needed.
