What you’ll do

  • Hunt down and correct equipment and system issues throughout the facility
  • Keep automated packaging machinery operating at peak performance
  • Apply pump theory to diagnose, repair, and rebuild
  • Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems and return them to spec
  • Interpret electrical schematics to resolve faults efficiently
  • Work safely on both low- and high-voltage electrical systems
  • Diagnose motors, motor controls, and device-level control problems
  • Repair power and control circuits across the plant
  • Service PLC-controlled and solid-state equipment
  • Perform gas/arc welding and soldering tasks
  • Support and maintain utilities: steam, hot water, compressed air, refrigeration
  • Handle basic plumbing and carpentry work
  • Source and order OEM parts using manuals and prints
  • Communicate instructions clearly in writing and verbally
  • Complete the Standard Timing Model mechanical test with a score of 60% or better.

What you bring

  • At least 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting
  • High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience

License path (MA)

For Massachusetts only; Role requires Special to Operate Engineering License (Steam Plant) -- License training will be provided if not already in possession.
