Join a hands-on role where every fix you make keeps the operation moving. As an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician, you’ll support a busy industrial environment in Vicksburg, MS, maintaining equipment, optimizing uptime, and partnering with teammates to solve problems quickly and safely.
What your day looks like
- Complete preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery, building systems, and support equipment.
- Perform routine and targeted inspections, diagnose root causes, and carry out corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Team up with peers and operations staff to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing issues.
- Document work activities, parts used, and findings to maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Assist with installing, commissioning, and setting up new equipment and systems.
- Follow LOTO and all safety procedures; ensure work complies with company policies and regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training to expand skills and stay current with technology.
About you
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or an associate’s degree is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in a multi-craft maintenance role within an industrial or facilities setting.
- Broad working knowledge across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical disciplines.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting mindset, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.
- Clear communicator and reliable team player.
- Willing and able to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
Your technical toolkit
- Experience with 120/208/240/480-volt systems and industrial electrical infrastructure.
- Exposure to high-voltage systems with safe work practices.
- Pneumatics troubleshooting and repair.
- General maintenance and mechanical repair proficiency.
- Industrial electrical systems diagnostics and service.
- Strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
- Equipment repair and preventive maintenance.
- New equipment installation and setup.
