Electromechanical Reliability Technician (Packaging & Processing)

What will I work on?

  • Installing and maintaining plant equipment and production machinery.
  • Responding to unplanned breakdowns during runs, plus executing scheduled repairs.
  • Carrying out light machinist work to support quick-turn fixes.
  • Applying mechanical and electrical know-how, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, to troubleshoot issues.
  • Diagnosing faults, swapping or repairing parts, verifying performance, and dialing in adjustments.
  • Conducting preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facility systems.
  • Completing basic plumbing and carpentry tasks as needed for the plant.
  • Using hand/power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment safely.
  • Spotting abnormal operations or defective materials and notifying supervisors.
  • Maintaining a safe, orderly workspace while following all safety rules.
  • Helping launch new lines, test new products/packaging, and support installations.
  • Working side-by-side with production to hit schedules—troubleshoot, find root causes, and implement corrective actions to stop repeat issues.
  • Providing leadership by teaching operators basic PM and adjustment techniques to boost efficiency.
  • Assisting with equipment teardown, sanitation, and reassembly to minimize downtime and speed changeovers.

What skills do I need?

  • Facilities maintenance background.
  • Electrical troubleshooting and repair strength.
  • Pneumatics troubleshooting ability.
  • Well-rounded maintenance/repair capabilities and experience with industrial electrical systems.
  • Equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting expertise.
  • Commitment to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
  • Proven equipment repair and maintenance experience.
  • Confidence with blueprint reading.

  • Servo motors

When will I work?

2-2-3 schedule, 12-hour shifts from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM
