PGS Worldwide is seeking an Electromechanical Technician in Stennis Space Center, MS for a one-year contract role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.
The Electromechanical Technician will support electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical equipment, components, devices, and systems. This role includes constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing, and maintaining equipment while working from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
Required Skills
• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience, or master’s degree with 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or optical equipment.
• Ability to construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Ability to work from engineering drawings.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
• Ability to conduct tests and report data in a prescribed format.
• Ability to perform calibration and alignment checks.
• Ability to make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
• Ability to prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
What You’ll Do
• Support electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical technical work.
• Construct and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Calibrate, adjust, and test technical equipment.
• Perform calibration and alignment checks.
• Review engineering drawings and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Operate related equipment to support testing and maintenance activities.
• Conduct tests and document results in the required format.
• Make equipment adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
• Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions as needed.
Pay
• $25.00 per hour
