Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technician to join a precision manufacturing team responsible for building sophisticated CNC machinery and large-scale industrial equipment.

This is a hands-on assembly position for someone with a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude who enjoys working with tools, technical drawings, precision components, and complex machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience assembling large equipment, CNC machines, industrial machinery, or other precision mechanical/electromechanical systems.

If you are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking a machine from components and sub-assemblies through final assembly, testing, and preparation for shipment, this could be an excellent opportunity.

What You'll Do

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, technical specifications, and work instructions.
• Assemble intricate mechanical and electrical components, sub-assemblies, and complete machinery.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment to assemble, fit, align, and adjust components.
• Work with tight tolerances to ensure proper fit, alignment, and machine performance.
• Inspect components and completed assemblies for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues encountered during assembly.
• Collaborate with engineers, precision assemblers, and quality personnel to improve assembly processes and product quality.
• Maintain an organized work area and properly handle tools, materials, components, and finished equipment.
• Properly pack completed machinery using appropriate clean packing materials to prevent damage during shipment.
• Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing processes.
• Complete required training and maintain compliance with quality system requirements.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in precision assembly, machine assembly, electromechanical assembly, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with large equipment, CNC machinery, industrial machinery, or complex mechanical systems strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with tight tolerances.
• Good manual dexterity and mechanical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and/or electrical assembly issues.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and following established procedures.
• Valid driver's license.
