Job Description
  • We are looking for anAssociate Test Engineer to support the testing, validation, troubleshooting, and qualification of advanced electrical and optomechanical systems.
  • This role involves performing system-level testing, analyzing test results, identifying hardware issues, and ensuring products meet quality and performance standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a collaborative engineering environment.
Responsibilities
  • Perform setup, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, electronic, optomechanical, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Execute system-level functional and performance testing using engineering specifications and test procedures.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Diagnose hardware failures, perform root cause analysis, and complete required rework.
  • Operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMM/DVM), and precision measuring instruments.
  • Prepare technical reports documenting test results, findings, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain test records, follow quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work effectively in laboratory and cleanroom environments while adhering to safety procedures.
Experience
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in electrical, electronics, hardware, or optomechanical system testing and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with digital and analog electronic systems, system integration, and engineering validation.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom operations and semiconductor equipment testing is an advantage.

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required (associate degree is a plus), or a related technical discipline with 2–4 years of relevant industry experience.
