    Department: OFIL SURGERY - NEUROLOGYShift: Per Diem; VariableFacility: Olympia Fields HospitalLocation: 3800 203rd St Olympia Fields, IL 60461

    Responsibilities

    An Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Technologist conducts & analyses electroencephalography (EEG), & performs Evoked Potentials (EP), Nerve Conductions (NCS), Long-Term Monitoring (LTM)/Intensive Care Monitoring (ICU), or Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IOM) on in & outpatients of all ages. Results are documented & reports on findings to designated ordering providers. Performs clerical duties. Participates in performance improvement & continuous quality (CQI) improvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

    High School Diploma or equivalent required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) upon hire and maintain current. Registered Electroencephalogram Technologist (R. EEG T) from the American Board of Registered Electroencephalographic Technologies (ABRET) Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation upon hire and maintained current. Registered Evoked Potential Technologist (R. EPT.) from ARBET preferred. Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist (R. NCST.) preferred. Associate degree in Electro neurodiagnostic technology from a school accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs preferred.

    Olympia Fields Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $36.99. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
