We are seeking an experienced Electronic Assembler II to support production operations in a fast-paced aerospace and defense manufacturing environment. This position requires strong hand soldering skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work from schematics, blueprints, and detailed work instructions. The ideal candidate will have experience assembling and reworking PCB and electromechanical assemblies in a quality-driven production environment.

  • Assemble, disassemble, and modify electromechanical and electronic subassemblies following work instructions and process plans
  • Perform hand soldering and rework on printed circuit boards (PCB) and electronic components
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, process plans, drawings, and assembly instructions
  • Inspect parts and materials for defects and ensure quality standards are met
  • Utilize fixturing to accurately build assemblies
  • Manually solder or apply epoxy/tack bond materials to electrical components
  • Operate solder reflow ovens, semi-automated pick-and-place equipment, and automated measurement systems
  • Maintain production accuracy and quality standards
  • Use basic computer systems for MRP, data collection, and production tracking
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support manufacturing objectives

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of High School or Trade School education required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of PCB hand soldering experience required
  • Experience with electronic assembly, rework, and mechanical and/or tack bond (epoxy) processes required
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing production environments
  • Ability to become solder certified

Preferred Qualifications

  • IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD certifications preferred
  • Candidates with J-Standard Modules 1, 3, and 6 completed are highly preferred
  • Selective soldering experience is a plus
  • Experience working in electronics manufacturing or defense/aerospace environments preferred

Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
