The Electronic Assembler III performs electronic and mechanical assembly tasks following detailed instructions and engineering drawings in a manufacturing environment.
• Reads assembly instructions, diagrams, and notes to build and wire components, utilizing various tools including soldering irons.
• Selects and assembles components into sub-assemblies, recording activities via PC.
• Ensures calibration and certification of test equipment and tools are maintained.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives by following Lean and 5S practices.
• Demonstrates flexibility to assist in other production areas, warehouse, or kitting teams.
Qualifications include 3-5 years of electronic/mechanical assembly experience, the ability to interpret engineering documentation, and good communication skills.
Preferred skills involve computer proficiency, prototype cable manufacturing, mechanical assembly, and soldering certifications.
