• Experience: Advanced proficiency in cable/harness assembly with minimal supervision.
• Technical: Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, wire lists, and work instructions.
• Skills: Strong soldering and crimping skills (2-3 years of experience); IPC-620 and J-STD-001 certification preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Builds assemblies from start to finish using work orders, drawings, and specifications.
• Assembly operations include wire cutting, labeling, crimping, soldering, heat shrink, potting/molding, IDC, backshell, harnessing, box builds, kitting, and continuity testing.
• Provides hands-on technical guidance and assistance to assemblers.
• Trains employees on assembly techniques, workmanship standards, and job-specific requirements.
• Reports job status, constraints, and technical issues to the Production Manager.
• Interfaces with Quality and Engineering to resolve documentation or build issues.
