Introduction
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in a dynamic engineering or prototyping environment. This role involves performing a variety of electrical and mechanical assembly operations with a focus on quality and precision.
Required Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1 year of electronic assembly and inspection experience in a manufacturing or production environment using hand soldering equipment and basic hand tools or relevant training.
Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Experience with wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing.
Prior work experience in the client's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on a W2 basis.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience in performing mechanical assembly including installation of press fit components, rivets, screws, and other hardware.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings for electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations.
Experience in performing basic repair work, rework, and modifications to assemblies or sub-assemblies.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Follow methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to perform mechanical assembly including installation of press fit components, rivets, screws, and other hardware.
Prepare, load, and solder printed circuit cards with minimal supervision.
