We are currently seeking motivated candidates with electrical, electronic, or mechanical assembly experience for an Electronic Assembler/Tech Aide position at a contract electronics manufacturer in Aurora, OH. Join a team focused on assembling high-quality IT solutions, including electronic and mechanical components, through electronic assembly, soldering, and testing. You will contribute to creating products such as KVM switches and environmental monitoring devices. This role offers steady hours on a first shift, with the potential for contract-to-hire employment.

Hours:
08:00 AM – 05:00 PM, Monday–Friday (First Shift)

Pay:
Starts at $20.00/hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components of high-quality devices
• Follow work process instructions and specifications, both written and verbal
• Identify and understand defects in accordance with IPC standards
• Perform verification tests in line with assembly instructions
• Manage inventory through proper purchasing and reordering procedures
• Use hand tools and electric tools to perform electronic assembly regularly
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and maintain good team relationships
• Move materials and perform other duties as assigned
• Test finished assemblies as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• Assembly experience focusing on small parts/electronics preferred
• Experience testing completed assemblies preferred
• Surface mount soldering, through-hole soldering, and rework experience a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Dependability, flexibility, and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Quality-minded approach to work

Nice to Have Skills:

• Mechanical assembly aptitude and ability to follow written instructions and assemble parts
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Assembly background with electronics experience preferred
• Hands-on soldering and testing experience beneficial

Other Requirements:

• Must live within 20 minutes of Aurora, OH
