The Manufacturing assembly operator is responsible for assembling, testing, and ensuring the quality of electrical components, devices, and systems. The position involves working with electrical parts, tools, and equipment, following schematics, and technical specifications to ensure that assemblies are completed efficiently, accurately, and safely. The role requires close attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and install electrical components and devices per work orders, schematics, and technical instructions.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure all electrical components meet operational and safety standards.
  • Use hand and power tools to assemble electrical systems and perform minor repairs or modifications when required.
  • Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of assembled electrical components.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the assembly area, keeping tools and materials properly stored.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to address assembly issues and improve processes.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.  Electrical background/knowledge.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or related manufacturing/technical field.
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
  • Knowledge of electrical components, tools, and assembly techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform diagnostic tests on electrical systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods. Comfortable working with electrical equipment and in a manufacturing setting.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of electrical assembly or relevant technical certifications.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in electrical assembly.
Note:
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses (RAB provides), and Steel toe shoe are required.
