Job Title: Assembly Technician

Location:West Chester, PA
Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM 2:30 PM)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to support the testing, troubleshooting, repair, and assembly of electronic devices and components. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience using hand tools, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic testing on units to determine functionality and identify defects.
  • Disassemble products to the board level using hand and power tools, including screwdrivers and drills.
  • Troubleshoot units based on diagnostic test results and replace defective components as needed.
  • Reassemble units by ensuring proper fit, alignment, and fastening of parts and subassemblies.
  • Upgrade software and perform functional testing to verify product performance.
  • Complete production, repair, and quality documentation accurately and timely.
  • Maintain high levels of quality, productivity, and attention to detail.
  • Follow established work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality procedures.
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Basic computer skills for software upgrades and production reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience assembling, repairing, or testing electronic devices.
  • Experience working with small components and intricate assemblies.
  • Soldering experience or the ability to pass a soldering assessment.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, or repair environment.
