Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician for a precision laser technology manufacturer - ideal for candidates with SMT/through-hole soldering experience seeking impactful, hands-on work.
Hand solder PCB assemblies (SMT and through-hole) and integrate boards into bench-top electro-mechanical driver units weighing under 12 lbs.
Build wire harnesses and perform mechanical sub-assembly across a variety of precision laser and photonics products.
Execute pass/fail testing; follow documented processes precisely using lab instruments and an ERP barcode scanning system.
Work independently at a dedicated bench after initial training across a variety of product builds.
Essential Qualifications
5+ years hands-on SMT and through-hole soldering in production or contract manufacturing; hand soldering/rework required (wave solder only does not qualify).
Experience building electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and wire harnesses; ability to read and follow engineering diagrams precisely.
High school diploma required; AA in Electronics or related field preferred; basic computer proficiency (ERP/barcode scanning systems).
