Job description:Client in Minneapolis MN is seeking an experienced electrical/electronic technician to work in its Electrical Lab. This position will support fabrication of Micro & Nano electronic products and support equipment including -assembly, test, inspection, troubleshooting, rework and repair.
Required skills include proficient use of electronic test equipment, electrical assembly tools and hand tools. Specific skills include:- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches.
- Precision and fine motor skills required for micro/nano scale fabrication, assembly, test with near zero defects.
- Must be able to demonstrate high degree of mechanical aptitude.
- and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements. Conduct tests using electronics test equipment (ie. Scopes, meters, etc) and generate test report data.
- Able to work as part of a group or team.
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies.
Preferred skills include - Ability to communicate feedback to the team to support design, fabrication and test improvements.
- Cirris and/or Automated Test Equipment operator experience
- Troubleshooting of electronic, electrical systems
- Trained and proficient in manufacturing & quality requirements of IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3, IPC-610 Class 3 and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements
Work Experience Required:2-year technical degree or a Minimum of 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment.
