Job Summary This position is a product‑engineering role for an Engineering Manager within the Electro‑Magnetic Actuator & Valve Team in the Electrical Components Division. The team designs and develops hydraulic, transmission, and engine control valves that are electrical or electronic. The manager provides leadership across people, product, and supplier domains.Responsibilities Manage the engineering staff and activities, ensuring achievement of organizational goals, professional development, and continuous improvement.Monitor and continuously improve product and process performance, quality, and cost‑effectiveness across all engineering activities and deliverables.Lead the creation and maintenance of processes used to design, develop, and manufacture components, systems, products, services, and technologies.Handle engineering product and manufacturing process or quality issues from concept through end of life‑cycle.Education Requirement Accredited engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical degree.Preferred Qualifications Supplier management experience for a portfolio of suppliers and component types.Experience with New Product Introduction, New Technology Introduction, Continuous Product Improvement, and component lifecycle management.Experience with APQP processes.Business plan management, including budgeting, actuals tracking, and capital processes.Familiarity with manufacturing processes and controls.Understanding of operating principles for Hydraulic, Transmission, and Engine Control Valves.Basic understanding of fluid dynamics, tribology, control theory, and electro‑magnetism.Basic firmware management, controls, and software development processes.At least five years of experience developing high‑precision complex components or system integration.Prior supervisory experience.Experience working with global teams.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Location Mossville, IL. Domestic relocation assistance is available.
