POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for proactively assisting customers in a way that ensures the 1st Source Virtual Branch meets stated objectives in service, sales and operations with a strong emphasis on the utilization of technology.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Works directly with customers to process consumer deposit products and consumer loans, by proactively utilizing all available technologies.
- Monitors website activity and proactively sells to potential and current clients as they browse website.
- Advises and consults with customer on deposit and loan products to meet their banking needs.
- Cross-sells and up-sells bank products and services as needed.
- Works with brick-and-mortar branches to serve new and existing customers who utilize the Virtual Branch.
- Responsible for processing consumer loan applications and booking loan closings.
- Utilizes CRM Tool, "Insight", on a daily basis, to help meet personal and department goals.
- Participates in bank projects as assigned (ie., Kaizen Teams).
- Completes 1st Source University classes as needed for position.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position.
- Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position.
- Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs all other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- Three (3) or more years of retail banking experience preferred.
- Solid understanding of cash management products and business services.
- Basic knowledge of 1st Source Bank's product and business offerings.
- High electronic affinity with an ability to quickly pick up abstract concepts and adapt to and utilize technology in a sales environment.
- Strong PC skills--proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently to achieve sales goals.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
- Ability to protect the confidentiality/privacy of others as appropriate, as well as of company documents and records.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format to build and maintain relationships across all departments in the bank.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree preferred.
CERTIFICATION
NMLSR certification required.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel for meetings, projects or seminars as needed.
