Electronic Soldering Assembly Technician – Manufacturing
Location: Ewing, NJ
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
About the Role
We are seeking an Electronic Soldering Assembly Technician to support the production of ultrasonic transducers and electronic assemblies. This role is focused on precision soldering, wiring, board-level assembly, and electrical testing.
This is NOT a mechanical assembly or tank-building position.
Ideal candidates will have stable work history, strong soldering skills, and experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform SMT and through-hole soldering, wiring, and PCB-level assembly
- Build and repair electronic subassemblies, wiring harnesses, and transducer components
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions
- Carry out hi-pot and impedance testing with multimeters and other test equipment
- Inspect and troubleshoot electronic assemblies under a microscope
- Assemble, calibrate, and rework transducer units and related electronic devices
- Follow all quality standards, safety protocols, and documentation procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized work area (5S standards)
Requirements
- 1–3 years of electronics assembly or soldering experience required
- Solid experience in SMT, through-hole, fine-pitch, or micro soldering
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Hands-on experience with DMM, hi-pot testers, or impedance meters preferred
- Experience assembling or inspecting products under microscopes/magnifiers
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship standards
- Stable job history required (minimum 1–2 years in previous positions)
- IPC certification a plus (not required)
- Able to lift 30–50 lbs as needed
