Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for contract Electronic Systems Design, Analysis, and Test Engineers for current and emerging programs across the St.Louis region, including Berkeley, MO, Hazelwood, MO, St.Charles, MO, and Mascoutah, IL.These Contract Electrical Engineers develop and test electronic and electrical system requirements using analytical and technical skills, translate requirements into system architectures and modify hardware and software designs for Boeing aircraft, unmanned vehicles and much more.These Capability Centers support the following programs:F-47 – the next generation fighter for the Air ForceT-7A – the next generation trainer for the Air ForceF/A-18, EA-18G, F-15, F-22 – production tactical fighter aircraft ongoing major upgradesSeveral programs within the Phantom Works organizationMQ-25 – Autonomous Carrier Landing Vehicles for the NavyEngineering Capability Centers – specialized engineering for Platform Cybersecurity, Product Security, Flight Simulation, Radar Development, and Advanced Mission SystemsPrecision Engagement Systems (PES) including Direct Attack weapons (JDAM, SDB, MOP, HAAWC and associated derivatives) and Cruise Missiles (SLAM ER, Harpoon and development weapons)Boeing Global Services including Support Equipment, Government Training Engineering, and US Air Force Programs Modification, Sustainment, and Product SupportBoeing Test and EvaluationOur teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Electronic Systems Design and Analysis Engineers.Position ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and apply job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and conceptsDevelop, document and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements according to customer desires and contract requirementsDevelop statement-of-work and technical performance specificationsAnalyze, translate and implement requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications, showing traceability throughout the product lifecycleTest and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirementsResolve product integration issues and production anomaliesInvestigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements and for potential application to company business needMonitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirementsDevelop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirementsDesign hardware, software and interface specificationsSolve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycleThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
