Introduction

The role involves the assembly, integration, and testing of electro-mechanical assemblies for drone airborne agriculture sensors. The candidate will work closely with engineering to enhance processes and ensure the timely completion of production orders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2-year degree in a technical discipline such as Electronics or 2 years of applicable experience.
• Part 107 certification acquired within three months of employment.
• Ability to interpret requirements, drawings, and instructions independently.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Computer literate in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent troubleshooting & problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work constructively within a team.
• Highly motivated with strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
• Prior work experience at a client or in the client's industry.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools, particularly PTC Creo.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Technical build assembly and production design updates.
• Develop and provide external documentation to 3rd party manufacturers.
• Work with electrical hardware designers on circuit card assemblies.
• Perform wired assembly integration, system checkout, and test.
• Conduct optical assembly, alignment, and focusing.
• Support production schedule planning and flight testing.
• Document checkout test results and ensure delivery of defect-free products.
• Perform diagnostic analysis and repair of damaged equipment.
