Responsibilities:
How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots hospital electronic systems (e.g., fire alarm, pneumatic tube, overhead paging, nurse call, security, video monitoring, and TV systems) to ensure reliable operation.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance to minimize system downtime and unexpected repairs.
- Coordinates new system installations and projects in partnership with Facilities leadership and external vendors.
- Maintains accurate service records and updates building maintenance systems with work performed.
- Orders and tracks replacement parts to ensure timely repairs and system continuity.
- Adheres to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment, and supports additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree in electronics, information technology, or related field OR 5 years of experience in the electronics field
Experience:
- 2 years of related electronics experience
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
