Summary:
The Electronic Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, modifying, overhauling, and repairing advanced avionics Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) using a variety of test equipment and solutions. The role ensures that all components are restored to serviceable condition in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
**This is a weekend position. Saturday and Sunday are mandatory, along with two additional weekdays. The schedule can be either a 4/10 shift from 5:30 AM–4:00 PM or a 5/8 shift from 6:00 AM–3:30 PM.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
· Apply electronic theory to test, troubleshoot, inspect, modify, overhaul, and repair avionics LRUs down to the circuit board level in a shop environment.
· Work collaboratively within a team to meet quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction goals.
· Follow established procedures and accurately interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
· Evaluate electrical, thermal, and mechanical characteristics of integrated circuits, components, subcomponents, and systems.
· Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions in partnership with cross-functional teams.
· Accurately record all activities using company software systems.
· Utilize the Business Management System (BMS) to follow established company and departmental processes.
· Demonstrate a working knowledge of industry terminology and best practices.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
