Job Description
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electronics, including switch mode power supplies, control circuits, and analog/digital components.
- Analyze systems without full documentation, often working with minimal schematics.
- Use electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMM, power supplies, hi-pot testers, etc.) and perform high-quality soldering.
- Assist in designing and building test fixtures and loads.
- Perform basic mechanical tasks like drilling, tapping, and screw extraction.
- Support modifications (electrical and mechanical) to customer products.
- Utilize PC software (Microsoft Office, Excel, Access) and basic networking. Knowledge of LabVIEW is a plus.
- Travel to customer sites (mostly US-based, occasional international travel) and interact with customers professionally and diplomatically.
- Assist with general office and lab duties (cleaning, receiving, shipping, sourcing materials).
