Shift: Day (includes overtime, after-hours, and potential no-notice emergency support)

Pay: $33-$34hr

Electronic Technician I:

Altus Technology Solutions is seeking a full-time Electronics Technician I to support our government customer in Augusta Georgia.

Description

Applies technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes. This person works under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked frequently for accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Successful completion of any Air Force current or former ground radar maintenance course, or equivalent course from another military branch, or 2 years of study culminating in the award of an associate’s degree or equivalent with a concentration in electronics maintenance techniques – radar fundamentals desired.
• Experience using standard test, measurement and diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, probes, voltmeters, multimeters, ammeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.
• Interim Secret clearance.
