Electronic Technician II

Overview\n \nThe Electronic Technician II installs, troubleshoots, and maintains electronic security systems, including access control, intrusion detection, and networked security components. This role supports Department of Defense security projects at various locations and works both independently and as part of a team.\n \nThis position is contingent upon contract award\n \nResponsibilities\n \nWhat You'll Do\n\n Install and service electronic security systems (access control, intrusion detection).\n Read and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.\n Install conduit, cabling, equipment racks, and system hardware.\n Configure systems, support network integration, and perform testing.\n Document work performed and maintain tools and equipment.\n Provide on-site technical support and customer training.\n Follow all safety and quality standards.\n Travel to project sites as required.\n Other duties as assigned\n \nQualifications\n \nWhat You'll Need\n\n 2\u20134 years of experience with electronic security systems or related work.\n Experience with low-voltage wiring, IP networks, and alarm systems.\n Active Secret security clearance.\n Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.\n Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.\n \nPreferred Qualifications\n\n Lenel certification.\n Manufacturer certifications (Lenel, Software House, AMAG, Verkada, Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon, Axis, Hanwha, DMP).\n \nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\n\n Proficient with personal computers, office equipment, basic hand and power tools (e.g., wire cutters, drills, screwdrivers), and testing devices such as multimeters.\n Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, databases (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook required\n \nPhysical Demands: (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
