    Job Description:

    We are seeking a motivated Electronic Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing electronic systems, subassemblies, parts, and components using established procedures and standard or computerized test equipment to ensure products meet internal and published specifications and standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Review test schedules, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine testing procedures and required equipment.
    • Calibrate test instruments and verify master software according to specifications.
    • Analyze and interpret test data to ensure products meet the requirements of associated test procedures.
    • Connect electronic assemblies, components, or firmware to test equipment such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes, disk copiers, curve tracers, multimeters, power supplies, and automated or computerized test systems.
    • Read and interpret instrument dials, viewing screens, scopes, and digital displays.
    • Compare test results to specifications and accurately record required test data.
    • Analyze test results on defective units to determine the cause of failure.
    • Replace faulty components and document defects on unit history travelers.
    • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, production personnel, customer service teams, and others to improve testing and production procedures and resolve current or potential issues.
    • Perform electronic assembly, fabrication, and processing operations as directed.
    • Produce firmware and software copies as directed and maintain control of software masters.
    • Train and mentor others when assigned.

    Requirements

    • Associate degree from a college or technical school and a minimum of two years of experience as an Electronic Technician

    Or:

    • Four years of directly related experience without a degree.
    • IPC (J-STD-001) certification preferred but not required.
    • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work effectively to deadlines.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback and suggestions.

    Working Environment

    • Hands-on role involving testing, troubleshooting, repair, assembly, and calibration of electronic products and systems.
    • Regular interaction with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and customer service.
