Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Electronic Technician to join our motorsports team. This role is responsible for testing, building, and maintaining electrical system components to ensure optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with wire harness assembly, test equipment, and automotive electrical systems, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Test and build electrical system components to support system operations
Debug builds and install looms or components as required
Create or procure test equipment for hardware validation based on component requirements
Assist Electrical Engineers with assigned tasks, ensuring timely completion and prioritization
Research and validate new sensors and ancillary electrical components for future systems in coordination with Hardware Engineer or Electrical Supervisor
Maintain and track all electrical and electronic hardware
Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma; trade school certificate or two-year degree preferred
1-2 years of experience in test equipment manufacturing and wire harness assembly
Loom build and repair experience preferred
Proficiency with harness production tools, test equipment, and automotive components (e.g., ignition systems, ECUs)
Ability to prioritize and manage projects independently
