Description
⚡ Electronic Technician - Motorsports
Location: Santa Clarita, CA
Compensation: $28 - $40 per hour
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Electronic Technician to join our motorsports team. This role is responsible for testing, building, and maintaining electrical system components to ensure optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with wire harness assembly, test equipment, and automotive electrical systems, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and build electrical system components to support system operations
- Debug builds and install looms or components as required
- Create or procure test equipment for hardware validation based on component requirements
- Assist Electrical Engineers with assigned tasks, ensuring timely completion and prioritization
- Research and validate new sensors and ancillary electrical components for future systems in coordination with Hardware Engineer or Electrical Supervisor
- Maintain and track all electrical and electronic hardware
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma; trade school certificate or two-year degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in test equipment manufacturing and wire harness assembly
- Loom build and repair experience preferred
- Proficiency with harness production tools, test equipment, and automotive components (e.g., ignition systems, ECUs)
- Ability to prioritize and manage projects independently
