Electronics Test Technician III

Are you an experienced Electronics Test Technician with a passion for industrial automation and power electronics? We're looking for a senior-level technician to test, troubleshoot, and validate Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), servo drives, and industrial power supplies. What You'll Do

• Test and validate VFDs, servo drives, and industrial power supplies to ensure safe operation and product quality.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot high-voltage industrial equipment using electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Verify equipment is fully operational before shipment to customers.
• Maintain and improve testing equipment and procedures to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with the repair team to identify and communicate equipment issues.
• Mentor junior Electronics Test Technicians and provide technical guidance.
• Occasionally provide technical support to customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent technical training and experience.
• 5+ years of experience working with high-voltage power electronics, including VFDs, servo drives, or industrial power supplies.
• Strong knowledge of 480VAC and 700VDC industrial electrical systems and electrical safety practices.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, controls, or system integration.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with motor control systems or industrial electrical equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with the following is highly preferred:

  • Danfoss
  • SEW
  • Baldor
  • Indramat

Pay: $35.00-$40.00/hour
Shift: 1st (Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm)
