Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Electronic Test Technician for a Contract to Hire with a client in Hollister, CA. Candidates must have hands-on experience with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters, along with the ability to interpret technical drawings and troubleshoot test systems.

Rate Range: $35/hour to $43/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Electronic Test Technician Job Responsibilities include:

• Conduct destructive and non-destructive testing of pyrotechnic and electronic products in accordance with established Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) and Qualification Test Procedures (QTPs).

• Set up, execute, and document test activities by interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and dimensional data.

• Perform design verification and acceptance testing to validate product performance, reliability, and compliance requirements.

• Operate, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and environmental test chambers.

• Diagnose equipment and system malfunctions, making adjustments or replacing components as required to ensure accurate test results.

• Utilize measuring instruments, hand tools, and power tools while supporting process improvement initiatives, 5S activities, and other project-based technical assignments.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree (AS) in Electronics, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field preferred. Military technical experience is also valued.

• Minimum 1+ year of experience in testing, inspection, quality assurance, or mechanical/electrical testing environments.

• Hands-on experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, current meters, and multimeters, with the ability to troubleshoot and calibrate test systems.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and test procedures, with proficiency in using mechanical measurement tools (calipers, micrometers), hand tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $43.00 per hour
