Electronic Test Technician - III

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Test Technician - III for a contract opportunity in Poway, CA, supporting advanced aerospace and defense electronics within an avionics test environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong component-level troubleshooting skills, RF knowledge, and experience testing and repairing complex electronic assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up, perform, and analyze electronic tests according to established procedures, while accurately documenting results.
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic systems, circuit card assemblies, and components down to the PWA and component level.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, block diagrams, mechanical drawings, technical manuals, and related documentation.
- Operate and maintain test equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, voltmeters, and function generators.
- Repair electrical, electronic, and integrated circuits with accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to quality standards.
- Provide technical support, guidance, and training to other technicians while collaborating with team members to resolve complex issues.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: Poway, CA.
- 1st shift: 5:00 am to 2:30 pm.
- 2nd shift: 3:00 pm to 12:30 am.
